Excellent poem!!  I watched Michael being born and I'd put in his middle name but, I don't know what the proper spelling of his middle name is. I'll put Leigh for now, correct me if I'm wrong Michael, next time you see me. I wasn't around much when Jonn was a boy but I did get to experience the benefit of his agile young mind a couple times. He was a deep thinker,  who loved to speculate and theorize about the true workings of the mind and the Universe.   Just my cup of tea.  I found his conversation intriguing and stimulating.  He was quite a cunning linguist.  ReJane and I have been the bestest and oldest friends since 5 and 6 and any children of hers have always been a friend of mine. A Child Is NOT A Commodity, They Deserve To Be Treated Equally!  / Dawn Joseph

This had to be written...many children are hurt by the lack of a biological father, Jonn was one such child.  The only father he ever knew had told all of Jonn's aunts and uncles that Jonn was not his child.  If it had been true that Jonn was not biologically the offspring of this man, it could never have been the fault of this child.  It is not fair at all to deny a child the love and affection of a flesh and blood parent just because of insecurity and suspicion!  Now Jonn has a younger sister who is also denied the benefits of having a dad.  My prayer is this: "Please Creator in Heaven, help these fatherless children to feel loved and accepted...help them know that even if mere humans do not accept and provide them with love that You are there to be their Heavenly Father and there is no love greater than Yours!  In the name of Your Son, Jesus, I pray...Amen!"

A son who consoles his mum with existentialist ideals from beyond the grave is a rare precious and brilliant sparkling light whose spirit continues to shine most radiantly.  We love you and believe in your continued existence, you are the best son any mother could ever wish for.  All of your preparations were the most considerate action you could possibly have taken.  Any type of semantics could never do justice to the appreciation felt for having had the priviledge of knowing you.  I love you son, I am grateful that you taught me so much in your short time with us in this station, this plane of existence.  I cling to the belief that you are already beginning another incarnation as a happy child amongst the new generation of up and coming great minds in our universe.

when i place my pen on paper
i can't help but want to taper
off my contact in my latest
though i'll tell you not my greatest
former thorough conversation
that has been fueling my sensation
of a great imagination

when I read my own cognition's
written in my last edition
i get a sense of satisfaction
that I can't get from any action
i do for my own self-amusement
then I want to have some issues sent
to people for whom my heart is meant
so they can read it and rejoice
out loud or with an inner voice
after reading my rendition
wondering if its fact or fiction

writing needs my concentration
so i can think of the relations
between the things i think and feel
and what things in this world are real
or things that my mind just creates
so my life makes me elate
no matter how happenings rate
so when good or bad i have to judge
i can easily give my mind a nudge
wandering through these many stations
trying to theorize creation
